Pricing

Real ranges, published. Not "call for pricing".

These are the ranges we actually quote across the GTA in 2026. Almost nobody in this trade publishes them, which is exactly why homeowners cannot tell a fair quote from a bad one.

Ranges are for planning, not a quote.

What moves your number

Removal of what is there. Taking out old asphalt is straightforward. Breaking out and disposing of reinforced concrete costs meaningfully more and is the single biggest swing factor on most residential quotes.

Access. A driveway a truck can back onto is cheaper than one where material has to be barrowed 30 metres down a side path. Narrow lots and rear yards cost more for the same square footage.

Disposal. Excavated soil and old material have to go somewhere, and tipping fees are a real line item on any full rebuild.

Drainage. If water is pooling now, a new surface on the same grade will pool too. Correcting it is sometimes a small regrade and sometimes a drain line.

Permits and stormwater. New or widened driveways can trigger municipal approval and retention requirements, which usually means permeable paving on the new portion.

Why we publish this at all

Because the most common thing homeowners tell us is that they had three quotes with a $6,000 spread and no way to understand why. Published ranges let you place any quote — ours included — against the market before anyone visits.

If a quote comes in well below the bottom of these ranges, ask it to state base depth, compaction and lift thickness in writing. That is usually where the difference is hiding.
